The whole thing will smell like heaven.” I think this is the mountain man version of writing me a poem. However the fuck that quilting machine works, I’ll build you a special cabin to use it in, and I’ll use the best trees for it. I personally like that sort of personality in a hero, so to me, he was perfect. Griff was a bit of a jerk but in the way you know he's just a grouchy but lovable man, you know what I mean? Like he's only tender with the woman he loves or hides his feelings beneath a rough exterior. The fact that this story happened in about a day, I just didn't really believe in Luna and Griff's love. Even just the mention of a few days passing would be enough for me. I know, I know, that's instalove but I prefer when there is more development around it, more build up. It might just be a me-thing but I always struggle to enjoy a love story that happens within a day. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was how quick they started liking each other. If at first they don't get along, they quickly feel the chemistry them. They find themselves stuck on the road and have to spend the night in his truck. Only, on her way to meet a certain Aiden McRae, her husband to be but she ends up on the wrong side of the mountain and encounters Griff instead, a grouchy man who offers to drive her to Aiden's safely. Luna is a young woman who signed up for Mail Order Bride to meet the man of her dream.
